Officer of the Year

Tyler Williams

Officer of the Year 2017 Officer Tyler Williams

The Clinton Police Department is very excited to introduce our 2017 Officer of the Year, Officer Tyler Williams. The award is based on an officer’s work performance that best exemplifies the police department's core values of Integrity, Professionalism, Respect, and Teamwork.  It is a prestigious award within the Department because the nominations come from the officer's peers and then is selected by a committee of past officer of the year recipients.

Officer T. Williams started with Clinton Police Department in 2015 right after graduating as one of the top-ranked students from the BLET program in Sampson Community College. In his current capacity, he works as a Patrol Officer in the uniformed Operation’s Division. Officer Williams has demonstrated his desire to support the mission and objectives of the Police Department on a daily basis. He is often involved in our community programs. He exemplifies initiative and a genuine willingness to serve. We are fortunate to have Officer Williams as a co-worker and a friend.
