The Clinton Recreation and Parks Department Mission is to provide leisure opportunities for the citizens of our community.

Facilities:
Picnic Areas, Playgrounds, Tennis Courts, Outdoor Basketball Courts, Horseshoes, Bocce, Shuffleboard Courts, Swimming Pool, ¼ mile Paved Track, ½ mile mulched Fitness Trail with 10 exercise stations, Soccer Complex; Baseball/Softball Fields, Nature Trail, Lighted Multipurpose Field, Amphitheater, Restrooms

Picnic Areas
4 covered picnic areas and 1 shaded area available for reservations.

Picnic #1 - behind the Recreation Main Office.
Picnic #2 – at the end of Pierce St. on the left.
Picnic #3 – on Royal Lane past the soccer complex on the left.
Picnic #4 – near the corner of Pierce & Ellen St, across from ball field #4.
Picnic #5 – On Ellen St., between the pool and the handicap accessible playground.
3 covered picnic tables available first-come-first serve.
By tennis courts 1 – 4 near the main office on Leisure Lane	By tennis courts 5 – 8 off Royal Lane
Under the gazebo beside the pool on Ellen St.
1 shaded picnic area available first-come-first serve – next to the main office on Leisure Lane.
Playgrounds 5 playgrounds are located throughout Royal Lane Park.
Playground #1 – in front of Recreation main office on Leisure Lane
Playground #2 – beside picnic area #2 at the end of Pierce St.
Playground #3 – beside the Bellamy Center
Playground #4 – at the corner of Pierce and Ellen St., beside picnic #4
Playground #5 – On Ellen St. next to the Royal Lane Swimming Pool. This is Handicap Accessible.

Paved 1/4 Mile Track
Lighted Multipurpose Field off Royal Lane
Soccer Complex off Royal Lane
Fields 1 & 2 are for younger players. These fields are located behind the Bellamy Center on Pierce St.
Field #3 is the largest field and is the middle field on the complex. Parking is available off Royal Lane, adjacent to the field or across from the houses just past picnic #3.
Field #4 is located next to Royal Lane. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the field or at picnic #3.
2 Outdoor Basketball Courts
Both courts are located off Royal Lane between the Multipurpose field and the soccer complex.
This court is adjacent to soccer field #4
1/2 Mile Fitness Trail
The Fitness Trail begins behind the Bellamy Center at 500 Pierce St. 10 exercise stations are located next to the trail. The trail goes from the Bellamy area, behind tennis courts 5 – 8, along Royal Lane, through picnic area #3, behind the soccer complex and back to the beginning.
1/4 Mile Nature Trail
The Nature Trail begins behind Field #5 on Pierce St. The trail is approximately ¼ mile long and goes through a small wooded area to the back of the Amphitheater.
Many animals and insects can be seen year-round. Here, a Red Admiral butterfly rests on a grape leaf.
There are two benches along the trail for walkers to rest or view the wildlife.	Uncommon animals such as the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, can be seen in the winter . . .
while Gray Squirrels and Brown-headed Nuthatches can be seen most any day.
7 Baseball/Softball Fields
Field #1 is located at the corner of Royal Lane and Ellen St.
Field #2 is located on Pierce St near the Ellen St intersection
Field #3 is located on Pierce St at Leisure Lane
Field #4 is located on Pierce St past the Ellen St intersection
Field #5 is located on Pierce St across from Field #4
Field #6 is located on Pierce St near across from the Bellamy Center
Field #7 is located at the end of Pierce St past the Bellamy Center
4 Outdoor Shuffleboard Courts
The Shuffleboard Courts are on Ellen St next to the pool.
7 Outdoor Horseshoe Courts
We have horseshoe courts located at picnic #1,#2, and #4
8 Lighted Tennis Courts
Lights may be turned on at dusk and will stay on for 1 hour. Players can reset the lights for another hour at the time by pressing the green button when the alarm sounds. Rebound walls are available at each site.
Courts #1 - #4 are located near the Recreation Dept. Main Office at 119 Leisure Lane. Courts #5 - #8 are located off Royal Lane between the Multipurpose Field and the Soccer Complex.
Amphitheater
The amphitheater is located behind picnic #2 at the end of Pierce St.
Restrooms
Restrooms are available during daylight hours. There is a restroom located off Pierce St near Leisure Lane. It is convenient to Tennis Courts #1 - #4, picnic #1, and Fields #1 - #3.
Another restroom is located next to playground #3 beside the Bellamy Center.
