MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Clinton Fire & Rescue is to protect the lives and property of the citizens of Clinton and Sampson County. Our department will provide a proactive, highly trained professional emergency service for the City of Clinton to conduct fire prevention, fire suppression, mitigation of hazardous materials incidents, specialized rescue responses, and public fire safety education.
Such service and protection will be in the form of education, prevention activities and the prompt, efficient, professional and effective response to emergencies with the preservation of life as the highest priority. Serve our city and surrounding rural areas in times of need, assist surrounding cities/towns when called upon, and to do so with pride, integrity and dedication, always striving to improve in the areas of professionalism and training.
