There is a difference between the Clinton City Market facility and the Clinton City Market Farmers’ Market. The Clinton City Market building and grounds can be rented by individuals or groups for special events and festivities. The Clinton City Market Farmers’ Market was developed to provide a place for small family farms to sell their goods directly to consumers, to educate consumers about local farming and seasonal eating, and to encourage businesses to use and promote the use of locally-grown ingredients.

The rental fees associated with the rental of the entire Clinton City Market facility by individuals or groups for special events has been very well received and will remain as follows:

Non-Profit Organizations: *4 hours (includes building and grounds, electrical service to area, and restrooms) $100
Other Charges: **Security Deposit/Reservation Fee $75
  **Facility Guard Fee(per hour) $11

Any Individual or Private Group: *4 hours (includes building and grounds, electrical service to area, and restrooms) $150
Other Charges: **Security Deposit/Reservation Fee $100
**Facility Guard Fee (per hour) $11

Each additional hour over the initial 4 hours will be $25.00 per hour.

Security deposit will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of facility by staff.

Facility Guard will unlock facility, keep bathrooms in proper working order, be available to renter if problems with the facility arise, and lock facility when event is over.

Please contact Mary M. Rose, Senior Planner for the Clinton-Sampson Planning Department to obtain additional information at (910) 299-4904.
